11 bodies recovered at a house in Delhi’s Burari

Indian police launched an investigation Sunday after a family of 11 was found dead inside their home in New Delhi.

An investigating officer reported that the 11 dead bodies were found hanging with a ceiling fan of the house and were blindfolded and gagged.

The Delhi Police have rushed to the spot and the probe has been initiated.

The family reportedly ran a grocery shop and a plywood business out of their home.

He raised an alarm and people called the police.

According to the cops, they were initially informed by a neighbour that six to seven people have committed suicide.

"I saw the bodies hanging, stools lying around, and my wife's aunt sprawled on the floor by the bed".

"No father can kill his own son".

Eleven family members found murdered in New Delhi. "Let's wait for their investigation to be over", Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who visited the spot, said.

"Police are investigating. Let's wait for their investigation to be over", he said. However, when they didn't open till 7:30, one of the neighbour went upstairs to check on the family.

"Prima facie, we suspect they committed suicide but we are also investigating the case with other possible angles of homicide as well". 'We can't rule out anything, ' he said.
