Police say woman in Kearney was not missing Iowa student

Tibbetts' disappearance has baffled investigators since she went missing more than two weeks ago. "A report was sent to the investigating task force regarding this possible sighting". Calderwood said she still feel's her daughter's presence.

Tibbetts has not been seen since July 18 when she went jogging in Brooklyn, the small town in Iowa where she was living.

"It is our greatest hope that if someone has her, they will just release her", the emotional mother continued. "I can not comment on if there are suspects or persons of interest". At least 40 individuals and businesses have contributed to the reward fund, according to Greg Willey, VP of Public Relations for Crime Stoppers Of Central Iowa. "And Mollie was an incredibly strong young woman and I don't know that I have the strength in me and Mollie is lending me her strength every day and every night", she said. Initially, they said she was wearing a black sports top - but now say the top was pink.

"I can't tell you how much we appreciate you", he said.
