POCO F1 with Kevlar body launched in India, starts at Rs 20,990


The Xiaomi Poco F1 price in India starts from Rs. 20,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant. For security purposes, POCO F1 smartphone features an IR face-unlock and fingerprint scanner.

As unveiled previously, the POCO F1 is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chip aided by Adreno 630 GPU and a dedicated liquid cooling system.

MIUI for Poco also comes with auto app category, where the launcher will automatically categorize the app depending on the functionality.

For photography, this model uses nearly the same cameras as the Mi8, featuring a dual camera with a 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor and a second 5MP Samsung camera with Dual Pixel Autofocus.

The Huawei sub-branded recently launched its Honor Play in the country with the top end Kirin 970, dual cameras and fast charging. The super-tough, heat-resistant material is widely used in the aviation industry, the military, and high-end cycling. Poco F1 can shoot 4K videos at 30fps whereas OnePlus 6 lets you shoot 4K videos at both 30fps and 60fps.

There is one more variant. The color variants of Poco F1 are Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Rosso Red. Poco F1 comes with 6GB variant and has been expanded upto 8GB.

The first sale of this online exclusive device will begin on August 29th at 12pm via the MI online store and Flipkart. In order to keep the cost of the phone low, the Poco F1 flagship phone does not feature a glass rear like other flagship phones.

The phone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. With popular Android smartphones like the OnePlus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z flaunting a notch display along flagship Snapdragon 845 processor being pricey for the masses, the Poco F1 aims to be a power packed budget alternative.

POCO F1 will also come with a distinct version of MIUI 10 that can be integrated with Android components such as the app drawer, default app icons, and full-screen gestures.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and Location.

It's called Pocophone, and by the looks of its first phone, the Pocophone F1, it appears it will launch similarly cheap phones with even better specs than Xiaomi. This is, however, is available in only 8GB + 256GB storage option. A modified version of MIUI runs on the Poco F1.

Reliance Jio is putting forth Rs 8,000 instant discounts, up to 6TB high-speed data.

POCO F1 promises a great battery life as it comes with 4,000mAh battery capacity which supports Quick Charge 3.0 and the adapter is provided in-the-box. The 20MP selfie shooter up front is accompanied by an infrared light sensor and infrared lens so that Face Unlock works even in the dark. And during the announcement today, Xiaomi stated that it would be releasing Android 9.0 Pie software update for the phone.

Diving right into the specifications of this speed monster, POCO F1 sports a large 6.18-inch FHD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass X cover protection.
