The OnePlus 6T will launch this month


The clues to when it would be available have also been popping up recently in India. However, since the OnePlus Twitter account has been posting teasing images tagged with "#OnePlus6T " since late September with no prior announcement, it seems likely that today's upcoming news may well be something bigger.

The OnePlus 6T is not a well kept secret.

After a series of teasers and videos, OnePlus has finally announced the launch date for OnePlus 6T as October 30.

Clearly, this is an exciting launch and some lucky OnePlus followers will get the chance to be at this event.

Confirmation that once again the event will be ticketed with attendees given the ticket-price back in a discount on the handset.

Rumours have also revealed that the OnePlus 6T will look nearly like the Oppo R17 Pro, which means the phone will come with a waterdrop notch display that will equip the selfie camera. OnePlus 6T will what the company is calling as "Screen Unlock".

The OnePlus 6T is said to pack various new features when compared to the OnePlus 6. The leaks suggest that the phone will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch, and will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM. Previously, OnePlus phones were only available from the company's website. While the nature of display will be the same, OnePlus is expected to change the size of its display for the OnePlus 6T. Also, OnePlus 6T is expected to continue offering DashCharge technology support, that will boost battery capabilities in a matter of minutes.
