This Android smartphone is more expensive than the iPhone XS Max

However, we are yet to know the exact launch date and pricing only after an official confirmation from the company.

The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are the first smartphones to be powered by the Kirin 980 processor under the hood.

The Chinese manufacturer is looking to challenge Samsung and Apple at the top of the smartphone market, and Huawei regularly claimed its superiority over its rivals as it unveiled its new devices. It sports a Leica triple camera setup. These will be an ultra-wide angle 16-megapixel camera, a wide angle one with 12-megapixels, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. It offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. There's also a fingerprint sensor inside the display.

On the battery front, the Mate 20 Pro is packed with high-density 4200mAh battery, and supports 40W Huawei SuperCharge, which according to the company gives the device 70 percent charge in 30 minutes. It has an IP53 rating. That's larger than Samsung's 6.4-inch Galaxy Note 9, which is one of the largest flagships on the market.

The Huawei Mate 20 runs Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.

What do you think about the Huawei Mate 20 X? The device has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The Huawei P20 Pro that was announced earlier this year was a great phone, and for this year at least, the brand had already had their marquee handset with reviewers across the world raving about it.

All three phones have a triple-rear camera system that includes a 40-megapixel wide angle lens, a 20-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and an eight-megapixel telephoto lens.

This is a premium version of the Mate 20 Pro and has similar features with the only difference being a unique Black colour, a Porsche logo and some enhanced specifications. It's also much more expensive, starting at €1,695. And the company has upped its game with the Mate 20 series. The main camera is a 40Mp sensor with a wide, f1.8 aperture, which should be fine for most conventional photos. It also comes with a graphene film and vapor chamber cooling system. For Mate 20 Pro customers, they will receive the equally new 15W Huawei Wireless Charger. There's an octa-core Kirin 980 CPU - an industry first 7nm chip - and 6GB of RAM inside, with storage options reaching 128GB. The smartphone's tech specs also get a slight upgrade compared with the "standard" Mate 20 Pro, with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of HUAWEI Mate 20X would be available for 899 euros (Rs 76,200, approximately) from October 26. Huawei believes that the new Mate 20 Series sets a new bar by which all 2018 smartphones will be measured. The rear cameras of the phone come with Super HDR, AR features, macro photography and low-light photography features.
