Alec Baldwin arrested after allegedly punching someone in parking dispute


CBS is reporting that the man Baldwin punched was taken to Lennox Hill Hospital on New York's Upper East Side. Alec an unnamed man got "verbal altercation" over a spot near 10 street and 5 avenue.

The actor starred in the movie Hunt for Red October and more recently in TV shows 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live.

The News claims that the "two argued and when the victim went to a pay the parking meter, Baldwin ran up and struck him", they write.

At the end of the day, we'll always have Alec Baldwin and his anger problem that he doesn't seem to take any actions towards fixing.

A furious Baldwin later took to Twitter to denounce his arrest, posting the arresting officer's name and badge number in the process.

A representative for Baldwin did not immediately respond to the arrest. The man's identity has not been released, but the spokeswoman said that he was a white man and was 49 years old.

Baldwin is known for playing U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.

Baldwin and Thomas married in 2012 and have four children.

After the news of Baldwin's arrest broke out, President Trump said: "I wish him luck" when reporters asked, NBC reported.

Baldwin has also had several other run-ins with the general public that did not involve law enforcement.
