James Corden is trying very hard in his latest episode of Carpool Karaoke.

Streisand gives Corden a lift when his own vehicle gets clamped, and the two belt out her hits like 1979's "No More Tears" and 1973's "The Way We Were" during the drive.

Apparently, the last time she went in to renew her driver's license, "I had to do the written exam", she told him.

While Streisand was happy to sings duets of her classic tunes with Corden, she also debuted the new song "Don't Lie to Me" from her latest album, Walls, which was released today. "I've got to be honest though, if this is how I go out, I'll take it". But these days she can tell herself, "Let go, and let God". She expressed ire over it during her 2016 tour, telling the crowd of thousands: "It's Streisand, soft, like "sand".

In fact, Streisand confessed, she had stopped performing for 27 years because her anxiety was too intense. She won her second Oscar for Best Original Song for "Evergreen" from her 1976 film A Star Is Born. The song includes lyrics directed at President Trump with lines like, "How do you win if we all lose?"

"I don't get nervous nervous, but I don't enjoy it", she admitted.

"People still mispronounce my name, they say Stry-zand, Strisand in England", she complained. "I called the head of Apple, Tim Cook, and he delightfully agreed to have Siri change the pronunciation of my name, finally, with the next update".

"I called Steve Jobs once", she said.
