President Erdoğan meets with Trump and Putin at G20 summit in Argentina

World leaders are meeting in Argentina for their annual G20 summit amid new tension with Russian Federation over Ukraine and a United States trade row with China.

In response to questions about Trump's interactions with Putin, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said both leaders had informal conversations.

U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking to the Voice of America after canceling talks with Vladimir Putin following a clash in which the Russian coast guard fired on Ukrainian vessels and jailed their crews, said he has a "very good relationship" with the Russian president and will meet with him when the time is right.

November 29, trump has canceled a meeting with Putin because of Russian aggression in the sea of Azov.

He also denounced Ukraine's call to shut global ports for Russian vessels based in Crimea, calling the suggestion "a new edition of gunboat diplomacy".

Russia put on a courageous face after Trump abruptly junked a much-awaited sit-down with Putin, blaming it on internal USA politics and "anti-Russian hysteria".

Her main focus, however, was on the situation in Ukraine.

Western leaders banded together at the summit to denounce Russia's actions in Ukraine.

Putin said at the summit that there's been no discussion with Ukraine about releasing the sailors or the ships.

Her meeting with Putin in Argentina took place a week after Russian Federation seized three Ukrainian ships and 24 crew members in a clash in the Kerch Strait, an important shipping channel that links the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

And he cosied up at Friday's round-table talks to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, somewhat of a fellow outcast at the G-20 over his suspected role in the killing of a dissident Saudi journalist.

He and Mr Trump will meet later for talks over dinner, it has been announced.

"The President wanted to send a clear, unambiguous message that we find that type of behaviour unacceptable, and so he cancelled the meeting. he wanted to send an unambiguous message that the Russians needed to change that act", he said.

The Ukrainian Navy on Sunday said that Russian forces opened fire and seized three Ukrainian ships near the Kerch Strait, adding that six Ukrainian military sailors were wounded, two of them in serious condition.
