Wolves should scout Loftus-Cheek if he plays tonight

A loss to Wolves could be good for Chelsea players who have "too much confidence", according to Maurizio Sarri.

Wolves climb only one place in the table to 12th but will feel they have got their season back on track with this result, whilst Chelsea face slipping out of the top four unless they can get something against Pep Guardiola's imperious champions this weekend.

Nuno, who has insisted that his team do not lack any confidence, will need to see some improvement if they are to get a result against Chelsea on Wednesday night. I think there is no chance, ... it's very hard to find a central midfielder technically like Fabregas. At the moment he's very important for us", Sarri told reporters ahead of Wednesday's trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers."He had some problems to understand what I wanted.

He added: "Manchester City are in another category".

The Mirror reports that the player's immediate future is still unclear as we approach the January transfer window.

Loftus-Cheek struck in the 18th minute when his effort hit Conor Coady and flew in.

Wolves then turned the match on its head by scoring a second just four minutes later, with a low cross from Matt Doherty being tapped in at the back post by Diogo Jota. Willian and Alvaro Morata line up in attack alongside Eden Hazard, with Pedro and Olivier Giroud dropping to the bench.

The young midfielder could develop his game with a ball-playing team like Wolves and he would bolster Nuno's squad in the short-term.

Sarri gave first league starts of the season to Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Cesc Fabregas and Andreas Christensen and while they contributed, it was in other areas where he will have felt let down.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo said: "I think everybody enjoyed it - everybody from Wolves of course".

"I think we played very well for 55 minutes", he said.
