Broncos hire former Steelers OL coach Mike Munchak

The Minnesota Vikings have made yet another change to the coaching staff in the upcoming 2019 season.

The Denver Broncos have hired former Chicago Bears assistant coach Brandon Staley as their new outside linebackers coach, the team announced Tuesday. The Bengals had wanted to interview Kubiak as an offensive coordinator.

Donatell, who got his start in the National Football League coaching ranks as the Jets' secondary coach in 1990, has previously served as defensive coordinator in Green Bay (2000-03) and. He also worked with Fangio in San Francisco from 2011-14.

As for Gary, one could definitely see why he'd take a job with the Vikings over the Jags as they have a lot of question marks surrounding their offense and there are also concerns about coaching stability. Donatell's first year with the 49ers included a star-studded defense and rookie of the year candidate Aldon Smith, who was helping wreak havoc on the opposing quarterbacks. He previously coached Denver's secondary from 1995-99 - during which time the Broncos won two Super Bowls - and again from 2009-10.

Pariani has coached some notable tight ends, including Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, who was drafted by Denver in 1990. He will bring a wealth of knowledge to the coaching staff after serving as head coach of the Houston Texans (2006-13) and Denver Broncos (2015-16). His role included traveling for an global academy series to train athletes.

The Vikings are also expected to hire Klint Kubiak as the team's quarterback coach.
