WWE Rumors: Why Ronda Rousey Might Quit After WrestleMania 35

Ronda Rousey has always been vocal about her desire to step away from WWE to have a baby with her husband at some point. Those rumblings are apparently premature, however.

Consistent in informed coverage of Rousey since she signed with WWE has been the caveat that she'd expressed a desire to take a leave and start a family, perhaps sooner than later during the term of her contract, and an insistence on having the option to exercise that choice when she initially negotiated her deal.

Less than 24 hours later, Rousey addressed the rumors surrounding her career and personal life and she came out firing.

Not long after Meltzer's report, TMZ revealed Rousey is under contract with the WWE through April 2021 and that she doesn't plan on leaving any time soon.

Why would Rousey leave the WWE?

We're told around Survivor Series she informed the company that it was likely she'd be taking that break after WrestleMania.

"I really don't feel like I should have to respond to that kind of thing".

AJ is set to challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view tonight.

With the Royal Rumble victor getting a title shot, and Becky already being beaten by Asuka, fans expect her to match up with Rousey.

The details surrounding former UFC champion Ronda Rousey's future with WWE became quite the topic of conversation on social media on Thursday with online reports seeming to indicate a hiatus in the very near future. However, she has yet to decide when that time will come.

This could be a clear signal that WWE is trying to get an idea about how fans will react if Rousey actually gets defeated. After dominating the UFC for years, Rousey took over the WWE and could start looking for the next challenge in life.

"I've not kept it a secret that I would definitely want to start a family". Or should you stop and go try and get pregnant? "I've never had a baby before, I don't know these kinds of things", she said. A lot of decisions that we've gotta make as a family.
