Unai Emery says Arsenal could sign two players before January window closes

Inter have still not been presented with an acceptable offer for Ivan Perisic from Arsenal. And most of that interest has come from Premier League club, Manchester United.

Unai Emery wants to bolster his squad in January with the addition of 29-year-old Perisic, who has scored three goals for Inter this season.

Arsenal's hopes of signing Perisic this month will undoubtedly be boosted by the winger's previous comments about a move to England.

Reports emerged over the weekend linking the Gunners with a loan deal for the Croatian and he was subsequently pulled from Inter's team to face Torino on Sunday after handing in a transfer request. Winger Perisic is keen to leave the San Siro and has been offered to the Gunners but Inter chief executive Giuseppe Marotta insists he is yet to hear anything. The Italian denied that a bid had been received.

Sources have it that Premier League side, Arsenal are having talks with Inter Milan over a possible move of Ivan Perisic to the Emirates. "Perisic has expressed this desire, we must try to satisfy him, respecting the asset value that the player has for the club".

Marotta added that he did not expect Perisic to cause any problems if a move failed to happen as the club work on reaching an agreement over a transfer.

"You can't leave for free and with your salary paid by someone else", Spalletti said. Barcelona's Denis Suarez and Paris Saint-Germain's Christopher Nkunku are also on the radar and Emery said on Monday: 'We will sign between zero and two players. Perisic could be Arsenal's best choice of getting Emery what he wants and a boost up to their attack option.
