IPL 2019: WATCH - Andre Russell’s 13-ball 48 against Royal Challengers Bangalore

"I think they (Delhi Capitals) bowled well".

RCB will now host Delhi Capitals on April 7 and will aim to break their unwanted losing streak. However, he has got 490 runs against KKR.

Rajasthan Royals bowlers Jofra Archer, Jaydev Unadkat and Ben Stokes have leaked runs in the death overs. In the period in between, he dominated proceedings and played some brilliant strokes. A quartet of sixes included two over midwicket, while the boundary in the blitz came with a cheeky steer over wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel when Southee dropped in a short ball. The West Indian all-rounder has been the Man of the Match in all three wins of KKR and showed against RCB that no target is too much for the Dinesh Karthik's side. The bowlers were guilty of bowling six wides and one no ball in the innings.

This has not been a great IPL outing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have lost all 5 games to date.

Earlier, while batting first, RCB got off to an awesome start as Parthiv Patel and skipper Virat Kohli added 50+ runs in the powerplay. Moeen Ali gave the RCB innings the impetus the innings so desperately needed with a brief cameo, while Akshdeep Nath improvised at the end to collect four boundaries in his 12-ball 19.

The Nepalese spinner, though, had him stumped soon on a googly.

In this edition of the IPL, he has scored 207 runs in 77 balls.

Kohli- RCB skipper has not delivered his best yet in this IPL. The bowling department has been spearheaded by Kagiso Rabada, and they also have Trent Boult and Ishant Sharma in their ranks. The Rajasthan Royals have been completely outplayed in this game, with the Knight Riders winning this with 37 balls to spare!

It is not often that Virat Kohli's name will feature as support cast. He associated with Shubman Gill (3 not out) to put together a 14-ball 53 run stand for the sixth wicket. He opened his account with an edge that flew wide of the lone slip fielder, and thereafter collected his next 24 runs through singles; at one point in time, he had a sequence of 17 consecutive singles. He has been hitting a lot of sixes and he is doing well for his team.

In the 9th over, Pawan Negi removed Shaw after the batsman top-edged a delivery and was caught at deep square leg by Akshdeep Nath.

The South African pacer adapted to the two-paced surfaced very well.

Virat Kohli was the top-scorer with a 33-ball 41 as RCB could manage a score of only 149 for eight against Delhi Capitals after being asked to bat first.
