OnePlus 7 ad drops the phone in water, but you still shouldn't

There is much anticipation around the launch of this flagship, especially after the company announced that the OnePlus 7 Pro has received an A+ Top Tier Display Rating from DisplayMate for its "record-breaking" display.

We're less than two weeks away from the launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro, and the leaks are flooding in.

As you can see from the below tweet, the OnePlus 7 Pro is believed to come in three spec options.

Here's the full post from OnePlus' forum.

Tipster Ishan Agarwal has tipped the OnePlus 7 Pro price in India. Remember, as well, that OnePlus still hasn't even added wireless charging to its phones. Further, the OnePlus has continually increased the price of each of its flagship devices with the OnePlus 7 Pro expected to cost well in excess of US$700.

While the leaks suggest that OnePlus 7 Pro will cost more than 50,000 rupees in India. Also clearly visible are minimal bezels around the display and the inclusion of an in-display fingerprint reader; a holdover from the OnePlus 6T.

Here's where things get a little different. Meanwhile, OnePlus 7 Pro has the smooth 90Hz panel, 10GB of RAM, a third camera on the back of the handset for ultra-wide shots, and a mechanised drawer for the selfie camera to allow for an nearly bezel-less design.

The device will have a triple-lens rear camera and a single-lens retractable front camera, along with OnePlus' traditional notification slider positioned on the right side of the smartphone chassis.

This will be the first time the Chinese company will have two smartphones to launch at the same time, a clear shift from their earlier stance of one flagship at a time (and two per year). What's more interesting than the colors is the fact that the renders display the OnePlus branding spelled out, not just the logo, on the lower part of the back, similar to what Apple is doing with the iPhone.
