The Blues have been trying to tie their star man to a new deal but things seem to have shifted south for them as Hazard's heart now wants to be in Madrid.

While Sarriball hasn't been as effective as it was in Serie A, the Italian manager has guided the Blues to a European final where the London club will face off against domestic rivals Arsenal in the Europa League final.

And the 28-year-old appeared to drop a further clue that he could be off to Spain this summer with an emotional farewell to travelling Chelsea fans at the King Power Stadium.

Therefore, it's natural that he'll be eyeing up a move away to progress his career if Chelsea aren't challenging for the Premier League.

According to the same story, Europa League finalists Chelsea FC are the only Premier League club to have shown an interest in bringing the Brazil global back to the Premier League.

Chelsea, under Maurizio Sarri, have had a mixed season.

Asked if his future would be cleared up after the final in Baku, Hazard replied: "I think so". I just try to do the best.

The Belgian scored 16 goals in 37 games in the just concluded Premier League season and bagged more assists than any other player in the league (15). "Also there's the guys in the backline, players like David Luiz and [Toni] Rudiger, I'm looking forward to working with them and I think it's going to be really cool".

"I hope he will stay".

"I know very well that Eden tried to do his best for seven seasons at Chelsea", the Blues boss added.

It is understood that a decision on the two-window long suspension for registering senior players will be made before the closure of the upcoming transfer window, meaning a potential swoop for Coutinho would be viable.

'He's in the top few players in the world.
